Timezone exploits have been patched. However, if you spoof, you can still abuse timezone exploits by teleporting to the location of your desired timezone. It will act the same as if you changed timezones manually.
Remember the act of teleporting does not put you on cooldown.
What it allows you to do:
- Dailies: Catching, Spinning, Gifting, Quests of the day can be done this way. It will require you to use cooldown in the respective location to get it done, but you can do two or three in the same day if you follow timezones.
By extension, be sure to not miss your dailies by making sure it is the date you want (example: if you have to claim your dailies for January 1, and you are in France where it is already January 2, you need to go elsewhere because then you’ll miss January 1’s dailies)
PvP Rewards: Same as dailies but it doesn’t require cooldown.
- Special Trades: This one is easier than the above because it requires no cooldown. If you want to do more than one Special Trade a day, simply teleport to places where the day is different and do the trades there.
- Raid Passes: The same thing as the above applies to Raid Passes. Teleport to a new location, click the gym, and claim your pass.
Exploits regarding Raid Day Passes (where you claim more than 5 free Raid Passes) are now different. We will post what you have to do to maximize them in upcoming Raid Days.
- Coins: Coins are based on the timezone the gym is in. So, to claim the 50 coins per day, you need to know what time it is there for you to take the Pokemon out at the appropriate timeframe.
